Julie Chen Moonves is the host of Big Brother's 22nd season that premiered on CBS August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as moderator, and was one of the original hosts of The Talk. Her background in news helped her make the transition from The Talk, which examines current events and topics through the eyes that of female hosts.Chen Moonves was co-host of CBS News' weekday morning show The Early Show from 2002 through 2010. Before that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor in addition to being anchor of the news segment for The Early Show. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special in 1992, which focused on the Los Angeles riots, worked in conjunction with Koppel.
