Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is the Founding Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor and board member for SSC from 2011. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she was also SSC's costume designer, producer writer/music director as well as a text coach. While she was usually the leader of the acting ensemble in her final year she was able to make her debut as director (and Lighting Designer) in SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. The other roles she has played include an array of game show appearances. She is the daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised with two of her siblings in Walnut Creek. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she was a cheerleader. Following a short stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. She has been married in 1982 Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with whom she has two daughters. A wonderful actress and the perfect mother and wife. Post has been a source of inspiration for many within Hollywood.
